Always and forever…
We met years and years ago,
When I was a bundle of white.
We learned to share and care,
Sometimes haD little tantrums and fights.
Bought toys and a collar with jingles,
And jumped, and ran, and had so much fun.
We grew up together, chasing each other,
I loved you, my friend, still love you tons.
We were mischievous and got scolded too,
We were always partners in crime.
There’s nothing that can buy our memories,
No rupee, dollar, nickel, or dime.
It’s time to run faster and faster,
So, let my leash go off now.
’Cause I want to be held again by a friend,
And chase those birds and meow.
I will be there, always and forever,
Watching over you, my friend,
And in your memories and somewhere else,
I will be a young, naughty dog again.
